A brownie recipe appeared on 'Empowered Sustenance'. We especially liked the combination of crispy base and chocolate or carob layer.
Biscuits
Chufa flour or tiger nut flour lends itself perfectly to baking your own healthy biscuits. This is a perfect basic recipe which you can very easily adapt to your own needs.
Ingredients
- 150 grams of chufa flour
- 85g unsalted (organic grass-fed) cream butter
To taste
- A pinch of Himalayan salt
- 25 g coconut blossom sugar
Supplies:
- Oven
- Baking paper
Preparation
- Make a dough from the chufa flour, creamed butter, Himalayan salt and coconut blossom sugar. It should be a compact dough, not wet or dry.
- Place the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Make small balls of the dough, place them on baking paper and flatten them slightly.
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celsius.
- Bake the biscuits for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.

- Add dark chocolate pieces for chocolate chip cookies.
- Add grated fresh ginger and lemon zest for ginger biscuits.
- Add biscuit spices for spice.
